During the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top consumer finance applications on the Android platform in Central America exhibited notable trends.

The Banco del Bienestar Móvil app saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 821K in early April and dropping to around 116K by the end of June. Meanwhile, weekly active users peaked at about 8.1M in early June, before slightly decreasing to 6.8M by quarter's end.

Openbank México experienced a strong increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 408K in mid-April. Active users also rose steadily throughout the quarter, starting at 132K and climbing to 576K by the end of June.

For BBVA México, weekly downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 136K and 179K. The app maintained a robust number of active users, averaging around 17M throughout the quarter.

The Nu app showed consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 111K to 131K. Weekly active users increased from 6.2M at the start of the quarter to nearly 6.9M by the end.

Finally, Banco Azteca maintained steady download numbers, with weekly figures hovering between 100K and 113K. Active users also remained stable, fluctuating around 6.3M throughout the quarter.
